Taquonck Forrest Spears passed peacefully from the arms of his family to the arms of the Lord, on December 21, 2011.
Taquonck was the son of Tina and Forrest Spears Jr. of Charlestown, RI. He is survived by his brothers River and Ahanu, paternal grandparents Forrest and Corriene Spears of Charlestown RI, maternal grandfather Newton Royality of Westerly, RI, and countless loving and devoted aunts, uncles, and cousins. Taquonck was blessed by the devotion and love of Shaquila and Dennis Richards, Kenyatta and Kadense Richards, Marybeth Gibbons, Allison Kmetz, Stephanie Cambell, and Rachael Marcotte. He was fortunate to be a student in the CHARIHO Regional School District and is a proud member of the Narragansett Tribal Nation. The family is forever grateful for the love and support from the many friends, classmates, teachers, therapists, doctors, and caregivers who've touched Taquonck's life and filled his triumphant journey with great joy.
A memorial service celebrating Taquonck's life will be held at The Mystic Aquarium, Mystic CT on Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at 6:30pm. Food and refreshments will be provided. The service will be conducted by close family and friends, all friends and family are welcome.
The family requests that contributions be made in Taquonck Spears name to the Providence Ronald McDonald House in lieu of flowers.
